Bio

Cori Dioquino is a Filipino American actor based in NY and Baltimore.  Her credits include Marvel/Netflix’s Daredevil, CBS’s FBI, Joseph Cabato’s short film Open House and the web series Damned.

She began training as a competitive pianist before switching her focus to theatre while in college. Cori earned her Associate of Art in Music Performance from Howard Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Theatre Studies from Towson University.

Cori worked as a stage actor throughout Maryland and DC after receiving her undergrad, but soon grew a love for television and film production. She booked several independent film, web series and commercial roles before studying on-camera technique at McKinnon Acting Studios. She now enjoys performing both on the screen and stage.

Cori is also a passionate and outspoken advocate for stronger Asian and Pacific Indigenous (API) representation in the arts. In 2018, she co-founded an API-centered non-profit organization called the Baltimore Asian Pasifika Arts Collective (BAPAC) with a small group of API artists based in Maryland. The organization aims to provide much needed API representation in the Baltimore arts world by creating platforms and opportunities for API individuals and communities to tell their own stories through the arts. She continues to find ways to create and produce work, performance and otherwise, that represents the identities and experiences of folx within the API community.

When Cori isn’t acting, she can be found in the classroom as an arts integration educator, using the arts to encourage students to learn core curriculum and empower them to excel in the classroom and throughout their daily lives.
